Privacy Policy

The short version
Pop the Sum has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we cannot identify you personally. Your game progress is stored on your own device, not on our servers. There is nothing to buy in the game.
The game does send anonymous statistics about how levels are played, and it shows ads. Both are explained in full below.

Pop the Sum is published by an independent developer. For any privacy question, or to make a request about your data, contact anubhav.g.9948@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
What the game collects
Pop the Sum does not collect personal information directly. It does use third-party services that collect technical and usage information, listed here in full:

What stays on your device
Your level progress, coins, gems, boosters, scores and settings are saved on your device only. They are not uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them permanently — we cannot restore them for you.
What we never collect
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Precise location
- Contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera
- Payment information — the game has nothing to buy
- Anything typed outside the game
Ads
Pop the Sum is free and funded by advertising. It shows short ads between levels, a banner on the home screen, an occasional ad when the app opens, and optional ads you choose to watch in exchange for a reward such as extra moves or a booster. Ad providers may use your device's advertising identifier to select ads. You can reset or delete that identifier at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), which stops ads being tailored to past activity.
Ads are delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob also fills some ad slots through mediation, meaning other advertising networks may compete to show you an ad. Those partners receive the same limited technical information described above and are bound by their own privacy policies. The full, current list of networks Google may use is published in Google's list of advertising partners.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked to choose your ad preferences the first time you open the game. You can revisit that choice by clearing the app's data or reinstalling the game, and you can limit ad personalisation at any time from your device's privacy settings.
Children
Pop the Sum is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information held about you, and to object to certain processing.
Because the game does not know who you are, the practical routes are:
- Stop all collection: uninstall the app. Nothing is sent when the game is not installed.
- Delete what was already sent: email us. Anonymous data cannot be traced back to an individual, so please include the approximate dates you played and your device model so we can pass an accurate deletion request to our analytics provider.
- Reset ad targeting: reset your advertising ID in device settings.
How long data is kept
Anonymous gameplay statistics are retained by our analytics provider for as long as they are useful for improving the game, and are only ever reported to us in aggregate.
Where data goes
Our providers process data on servers outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States. They are contractually required to protect it and to use it only to provide their service.
